Abstract
Injury to young permanent teeth occurs frequently in children and adolescents following orofacial trauma. In traumatized immature teeth with pulp exposure, preservation of pulp vitality is important. Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), as a pulp capping agent that promotes root development and apical closure, has recently gained attention due to its favorable physical and biological properties. In this article, we report two cases of traumatized maxillary central incisors that were treated with MTA following direct pulp capping.
